GlenOak · 2022
From a state title to a national stage.
I won the Ohio 3200m state championship in 2022. That fall, during my senior year at GlenOak, I qualified for the Champs national cross-country championship and earned high school All-American honors.
Those experiences gave me the confidence to take the next step. I signed with the University of Tennessee to pursue Division I running.

Progress, setbacks, and a new direction.
After redshirting my freshman year, I ran an indoor 3000m personal best of 8:11, competing ahead of upperclassmen. My outdoor season brought a different challenge: a fractured heel while running the steeplechase.
A coaching change followed in my sophomore year. I raced cross country through the SEC Championships, but during the indoor season I began to lose my connection to the sport and my surroundings. I entered the transfer portal, explored several schools, and chose Tulane as the place to begin again.
Tulane · Fall 2025
Finding my place on a team.
At Tulane, I became a scoring runner in my junior cross-country season and earned American All-Conference and South Central All-Region honors.
The season took me to my first NCAA Cross Country Championships, where our team finished 21st. Contributing to that group gave the move a meaning beyond my own results.

Carrying that momentum onto the track.
I finished fourth in the 10,000m at the American Conference outdoor championships and qualified for the NCAA first round in the same event. It was another opportunity to test myself over the distance and contribute to Tulane’s season.

A wider view of the work.
I spent the summer focused on training with my Portuguese teammate, watching him race in Portugal before we headed to Sierra Nevada, Spain, for a month at a high-altitude training center.
Being surrounded by professional athletes let me observe how they approached their work each day. I brought those lessons into my own training and the way I organize my life.
Senior season · Fall 2026
Looking ahead, together.
Now in my senior season at Tulane, I’m preparing for the cross-country postseason with a clear ambition: help lead our team to new heights. The path here has included wins, injuries, changes, and a fresh start. I want to put all of that experience to work for the people beside me.
